Description

A graceful PNW woodland perennial. I’ve often seen these on other walkabouts noting their wonderful soft loose Aquilegia like foliage. Luck is on my side this year with flowers.  This plant is gendered. The flowers on the female plants are so uniquely different than the males. Female flowers remind me of miniature Loropetalum. The male flowers are absolutely unique. Unless referring to your field handbooks, you`d think it was a different species. Prefers dappled shade and forest edges in hardwood or mixed forest.
