Fruits start green then gradually develop a bizarre but visually attractive rich brown crackled skin. Great fresh, sushi, salad rolls, pickles, etc. Black spines.

Habitat: full to semi sun, warm well-draining fertile soil. Mulch. Strong trellis keeps bugs off your veggies & easier harvesting. Greenhouse/outside culture. 4-4-4 liquid fertilizer every 1-2 weeks is good.
