60 days. A rare ancient cucumber from the Sikkim region of Northern India/Nepal. Large 1 kg sweet fruits have absolutely no bitterness even when grown in less than optimum conditions. Fruits start green then gradually develop a bizarre but visually attractive rich brown crackled skin. Great fresh, sushi, salad rolls, pickles, etc. Black spines.

How to germinate Sikkim cucumber seeds:
Sow 2cm deep in moist medium. Germinates 7-10 days at 20-25C. Best as 3-4 week transplants. Use paper or peat pots; roots hate disturbance decanted from plastic. Heavy feeders, needs water & warmth. Habitat: full to semi sun, warm well-draining fertile soil. Mulch. Strong trellis keeps bugs off your veggies & easier harvesting. Greenhouse/outside culture. 4-4-4 liquid fertilizer every 1-2 weeks is good.
