How to germinate Zenobia seeds:

Very fine seed. Being an Ericacea (blueberry & rhododendron family), it needs to be surface sown and light to germinate.  Thinly sow into a prepared surface medium of equal parts fine milled coconut coir and filter sand. Mist seed into medium. Cover with clear plastic to maintain humidity and allow light. Cold stratify 6-8 weeks at 2-4C then give 18-25C to germinate. Should see sproutlings in 4 weeks. Alternative: baggie sow seed into moistened milled peat-sand medium and place in fridge. Once stratification period is over then thinly spread seed/medium mix onto prepared pot/flat and germinate as mentioned above. Be aware that seed germination can be erratic if not given cold stratification.
