Description
Queen of the Flowering Vines. A sturdy fast growing woody nitrogen fixing member of the Fabaceae family. In May-June, the vivid violet-blue trusses of flowers are a show stopper. Fragrant. Deer resistant. There are two flower types growing together. No doubt some degree of cross pollination occurs. One vine is the regular gorgeous blue, and the other is more white with a indigo spot. Both parents are dwarf/shrub types reaching 2-3m in height and do very well without support. Suitable for bonsai. Though we are not certain whether these are pure species but they show strong W. florabunda bloodines.
* We can’t guarantee if the offspring will inherit 100% of their dwarf parent’s stature or take on some of their large wild types.
