Description
BC native rose. Masses of single pink fragrant flowers clothe the plant followed by globe shaped red hips once/still used by our First Nations. Profuse bloom starts late May and lasts 2-3 weeks. The sweet perfume of antique roses and lemons fills the air Much loved by bees and other pollinators seeking nectar and pollen. Easy to grow and tolerant to many soil types. Deer seem to ignore it. Its dense branching makes is perfect as a hedge candidate.
