How to germinate Pterostyrax corymbosa seeds:
Soak seed 24 hours. Cold stratify in moist peat and/or sand in a resealable baggie (to maximize germination) for 60 days. When cold stratification period is over place baggie in a warm site (20C) and prick out seedlings as they emerge and transplant into a deep pot. Often more than one embryo per seed, so you might want to return the seed to its germination/stratification baggie and await the emergence of more seedlings. Provide strong indirect light and don’t let the seedlings dry out.
