Description

A handsome deciduous multi-stemmed native shrub with triangular leaves with scalloped edges. Arching branches reach 3-4 meters creating a cascade look. Pendulous creamy white flower clusters look something like sea foam on cresting waves. Deer and drought resistant. Fast growing. A great carefree plant for your pollinators. Very small seed. Prepare seed bed with a top layer of coarse sand. Surface sow by pressing seed into sand and mist well. Plastic cover improves success. Cold stratify 150 days. Keep moist. A dusting of fine mulch is helpful. Should germinate in 30-180 days at 20 C.
