Description
This beautiful flowering deciduous tree’s native range is from Italy to Turkey. It is the only Ash member with masses of fluffy white flowers with petals very similar to a Fringe tree and the dense clusters of a Japanese lilac. Profuse bloom brings in many pollinators. Nice attractive rounded crown suitable as a specimen, street tree and a shade tree for larger gardens. Matt blue-green pinnate leaves turn yellow to orange red in the fall. It is susceptible to ash borer.
