Description
In late May the bright yellow flowers arranged in perfect spheres are a delight for your eye and nose as the perfume is like wildflower honey. No wonder the bees and butterflies are all over it! Great for dry sites where you don’t need to water even in hot sun once its established. Hardy on our west coast. I’ve never seen a hint of disease or pest problems. I wish it self seed. Blooms on new wood, Easy to grow. Used in traditional folk medicine in South America.

How to germinate Buddleja globosa seeds:
Very fine seed. Press seed into moist well draining peaty medium. Chill for 4 weeks and keep moist via misting. Needs light to germinate. After chilling, needs warmth and light to germinate. Optimum germination temp: 20-24C. Days to germinate 20-40.
