Description
PNW terrestrial orchid. Each flower is uniquely marked with its own pattern of spots. It possesses no chlorophyll so it relies entirely upon its symbiotic relationship with ectomychorrhial Russulaceae (Lactarius and Russula mushrooms) for nutrition. So you will need some non sterilized forest soil where these mushrooms grow to mix into your medium.
Though common, its easy to overlook this knee high beauty that can have as many as 40 blooms on a stem. Prefers dry open conifer forest with sparse underbrush of Mahonia and Gaultheria.
Seeds will be packed in a vial. Decant seeds using a natural bristle brush to place onto medium substrate.

How to germinate Corallorhizae orchids:
Seeds are like dust as the embryo has no cotyledons and must rely on symbiotoic Russulaceae mychorrhizae for nutrition. I am seeking information from an orchid specialist on how to. Stay tuned.
