60 days. An European heirloom with great adaptability to grow in the greenhouse and outdoors. Dark green skinned 30 cm fruits with bright white flesh and extremely small seed cavity. Great slicing. We were impressed how well it did as a pickle. Absolutely bitter-free. Prolific. We have it outside growing on a wire framed trellis in 45cm deep raised beds. Had it in Asian style salad rolls, sushi, potato & cuke salad and made some awesome garlic dill pickles. I yearn for summer again to feast on these.

How to germinate Tanja cucumber seeds:
Sow 2cm deep in moist medium. Germinates 7-10 days at 20-25C. Best as 3-4 week transplants. Use paper or peat pots; roots hate disturbance decanted from plastic. Heavy feeders, needs water & warmth. Habitat: full to semi sun, warm well-draining fertile soil. Mulch. Strong trellis keeps bugs off your veggies & easier harvesting. Greenhouse or outside culture. 4-4-4 liquid fertilizer every 1-2 wks is good. Hates wet leaves & cold soil.
