We arrived home mid October. Good news, I didn’t break any bones this time. The wet cold spring prevented many plants from successfully pollinating, so we are experiencing total harvest failure for Magnolia, Ginkgo, Quercus and a few others. The word “disappointment” barely covers the emotions felt when our jaws hit the ground in shock seeing trees void of fruits when normally the branches are heavy with bounty. We did find a couple new plants we hope to offer seed by winter (pods are still very green).
It will be a couple of days to sort what we did collect for proper storage. Thank you for your patience and supporting independent seed collectors and propagators.
