Saanich 2023 : January 14. Saanich. Venue: Main indoor pavilion at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP), 505 Quayle Rd. Access from West Saanich Rd. at Beaver Rd. and from Interurban Rd. at Quayle Rd. NOTE: we will not be attending this event, but do go and support your local growers and seed savers. https://hcp.ca/
Qualicum Beach 2023 : Feb 4. Its ON! Venue: Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, 747 Jones Street. 10am-3:30pm. Huge venue. Lots of free parking. Admission by donation. Most vendors are cash only. There is no ATM on site. Bring your own sturdy waterproof bags for plants. Port Alberni 2023: Feb 11, 2023. Its ON! 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 4255 Wallace St, Echo Center, Dogwood Room, Port Alberni. First time we will be attending this event. Google maps shows plenty of parking. https://www.facebook.com/avseedysaturday
Victoria 2023 Unknown at this time if the event is open or canceled. 2020 event as listed: Feb 15. Victoria. Venue: Victoria Conference Center, 720 Douglas St. 10am-4pm. Seasoned speakers will be sharing their wisdom on a wide range of very interesting topics all day long. Premium venue for this huge event so, yes, there is an admission charge of $8 -under 16 yrs are free. Nice seed swap.

Nanaimo. Sunday, March 5 2023 Its ON! Nanaimo. Venue: Beban Centennial Building (2300 Bowen Road). 10 am-3pm. Big open venue. Lots of free parking. Door prizes. Lots of vendors. Cobble Hill 2023 March 11 Saturday. Its ON! Venue: Cobble Hill Community Hall, 3550 Watson Ave. 10am-2pm. This event is spread out into three buildings, so, yes its a huge event. If you can’t find what you’re looking for there, it doesn’t exist. Free admission. Free parking. Gals in the main building offer tasty fare to maintain your energy.
Coombs Sunday, March 26 2023. Its ON! Coombs Fairgrounds, Ford Road, Coombs, B.C. 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Free admission. Indoor and outdoor vendors. Lots of parking. Bring your mask. Food vendors will be there to keep you fueled. A shout out to Janet and the CFI committee . Despite the old and wet, over 570 hardy souls came out to support local growers and seed savers. I heard one attendee say “I never thought there would be so many local growers”. Thank you Janet et al in hosting the event and increasing everyone’s knowledge base.
