We will provide updates as they occur.

Come out and support your local seed savers and growers. You will be helping to keep food security in your community. I encourage you to visit the links as I do hope event coordinators keep their vendor listings valid so you can at least visit your favorite vendor’s website and support them via online ordering.

Saanich 2023 : January 14. Saanich. Venue: Main indoor pavilion at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP), 505 Quayle Rd. Access from West Saanich Rd. at Beaver Rd. and from Interurban Rd. at Quayle Rd. https://hcp.ca/

Qualicum Beach 2023 : Feb 4. Its ON! Venue: Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, 747 Jones Street. 10am-3:30pm. Huge venue. Lots of free parking. Admission by donation. Most vendors are cash only. There is no ATM on site. Bring your own sturdy waterproof bags for plants. Port Alberni 2023: Feb 11. Its ON! 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 4255 Wallace St, Echo Center, Dogwood Room, Port Alberni. There will be a Seedy Saturday banner hanging at the entrance according to the coordinators. First time we will be attending this event. Victoria 2023 Unknown at this time if the event is open or canceled. 2020 event as listed: Feb 15. Victoria. Venue: Victoria Conference Center, 720 Douglas St. 10am-4pm. Seasoned speakers will be sharing their wisdom on a wide range of very interesting topics all day long. Premium venue for this huge event so, yes, there is an admission charge of $8 -under 16 yrs are free. Nice seed swap.

Courtenay 2023 : March 4 2023 Its ON! 10am- 3pm. Venue: . Florence Filberg Centre. https://cvgss.org/events/seedy-saturday/

Nanaimo 2023. Sunday, March 5. Its ON! Nanaimo. Venue: Beban Centennial Building (2300 Bowen Road). 10 am-3pm. Big open venue. Lots of free parking. Door prizes. Lots of vendors. Cobble Hill 2023 March 11 Saturday. Its ON! Venue: Cobble Hill Community Hall, 3550 Watson Ave. 10am-2pm. This event is spread out into three buildings, so, yes its a huge event. If you can’t find what you’re looking for there, it doesn’t exist. Free admission. Free parking. Gals in the main building offer tasty fare to maintain your energy.

Sooke 2023 March 25. ITS ON! 10am-3pm. 10 am – 3 pm at the Sooke Community Hall. We don’t know yet if we will be attending as its right up against Coombs, the next day. Coombs Sunday, March 26 2023. Its ON! Coombs Fairgrounds, Ford Road, Coombs, B.C. 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Free admission. Indoor and outdoor vendors. Lots of parking. Food vendors will be there to keep you fueled.
